About West Los Angeles College
West Los Angeles College is located on the west side of Los Angeles, adjacent to Culver City. The past year was dominated by a series of design approvals and the preparation for major construction projects. Projects receiving State Architect approval include the Parking Structure and the Math and Science Building. The main projects in design are the new Student Services and General Classroom Buildings. Before construction commences on any of West's new buildings, a temporary haul road must be in place. The road is expected to be completed by the end of 2006.

West Los Angeles college is looking forward to the construction of a new Math and Science Building. The 90,000 square foot building will include classroom space for the Mathematics, Physical Sciences, and Life Sciences Departments, plus offices for Science Department faculty and the Dean's Office. Construction is expected to start in 2007.
