West Los Angeles College (WLAC) is located on the west side of Los Angeles, adjacent to Culver City. WLAC recently opened its new four-story, 1,000 space parking structure. The new facility was built with voter approved bond funds, and makes the campus "greener"as rooftop solar panels produce 300 kilowatt of solar power.
Also, West's main construction project - its new, green certified Student Services and General Classroom Buildings - is nearly complete. The facility is expected to be finished by the fall.
Students now have 1,000 more spaces to park with the campus' new Parking Structure and Entry Plaza. There are even more available places, as the campus features a parking lot with room for an additional 123 cars adjacent to the new garage.
