This year marks 40 years since Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his famous “I’ve Been to the Mountaintop’” speech with many special events taking place to mark the anniversary. This fall, LACC will also honor the legacy of MLK by hosting the grand opening of its newly-renovated library. Currently, the library is 90 percent complete. All furniture and equipment have been procured for the building and installation has begun.
